Studios Terms of Service

The following policies govern how members, guests, and visitors use Underbelly Studios. They consolidate our signed agreements into a single, easy-to-reference page. Questions? Email hello@underbelly.is.

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use cover every service offered at Underbelly Studios—desk rentals, offices, studio bookings, conference rooms, Wi-Fi, and amenities. By using the space you agree to the following:

  • Acceptance + updates: We may update these terms; we’ll email members within 30 days of any change.
  • Compensation + billing: Membership is invoiced monthly and due upon receipt. Non-payment can lead to suspended access.
  • Description of services: Access includes workspace, internet, equipment, and other resources as available.
  • Use restrictions: No illegal activity, spam, security breaches, or excessive network load. Don’t interfere with other members or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Acceptable use: No harassment, defamation, obscene content, IP infringement, malware, or falsified identities. Respect privacy and confidentiality.
  • Confidentiality: Treat all business information observed in the space as confidential and do not share it.
  • Participation: You use the space at your own risk; we aren’t liable for lost equipment or data.
  • Disclaimer + liability: Services are provided “as is.” Our liability is limited to USD $10 and we’re not liable for incidental or consequential damages.
  • Termination: Access can be revoked at any time for violating these terms.
  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify Underbelly against claims arising from your misuse of the space.
  • Insurance: We carry general liability coverage; members should carry renter’s insurance for their own gear.

  • Renters are responsible for any damages to furniture, gear, or the space.
  • Nothing may be taped or attached to walls/fixtures.
  • No alcohol for non-member rentals; snacks/drinks are available for purchase.
  • Keep rooms clean and return furniture to its original layout after use.
  • Garbage that doesn’t fit in kitchen bins must be taken to the southwest dumpsters.
  • Renters assume full responsibility for their guests’ conduct and must supervise events at all times.
  • Underbelly is not liable for personal injury, lost property, or equipment damage.
